Jam packed.

Last night Trouble was very cross trying to do zir best to organise stuff for us here at The Beggar's Opera ie. musical US, ie. me, definitely and viola too, but also others like francesca and many Hinchinbrook House people such as Lowena, Oceana, Heartness, Frond and Skink who are all very into music apparently, which I didn't know intellectually but I've always felt the presence of others with me when I play. I see myself more as the technician. And I wish I was a better one. Mannie too is quite musical in a very left brain way and once played piano and could sight read alongside Viola. We have plans in that direction.

Trouble's crossness is just that it's so hard to be there, then flee, be there, then flee. The need to be there then flee be there then flee is very irritating, and perhaps we could overcome it with another three years of deep psychic work but we resent it when it is for such a stupid cause as this. Stupid cause being that we seem to have been sucked into organising "giving input" volunteering to help set up etc. It is frustrating because none of our musical people are permitted (by our own edicts) or wish to play that role at all and don't have the necessary knowledge or memories. And we don't WANT to fill up their minds with politics, details, facts, decisions, committees. We suspect that were we to do that then they would not be able to create.

Last night was a performance by some amazing musicians, followed by a FANTASTIC Jam session with Helen Barley and our new musical friend Mary. WONDERFUL. Then this morning was a committee meeting followed by a music workshop. Oh so good. So exciting.

So thank you Trouble, and I am sorry that you had such a stressful two days of rushing in to answer questions and to do stuff and then fleeing so we could stay here and be musical.
Thank you.

Roz.
