Less grumpy but still a bit disgruntled.

We went to the beach with our friend Naomi and her children, and met up with some friends - a wonderful extended family all musical, and I might, might, might have a mandolin back up for the "Was Supposed to be St Patrick's Day" gig at the Worker's Club. I'm annoyed that they moved it.

I should have just said - if it's not on St Patrick's Day, it's not on at all. Unfortunately he came to see 'me' at work, and it was Trouble and she didn't realise (understandably) that I didn't want it unless it was on the day, and she was very busy training the New Manager so she just smiled and nodded as we do, sometimes, and that's how I'm stuck with it. I am more cheerful now that there's the possibility of mandolin backing me up.
